UTAH COALITION FOR YOUTH IN TREATMENT APRIL MEETING INVITE

We formed the VOICE Utah Coalition for Youth in Treatment a little over 4 months ago. There has been a groundswell of movement, progress and partnerships made within that timeline. One of our main goals is specific to having collaborative and open discussions with both State Legislators and the Health and Licencing Departments.

Our next VOICE Meeting we will be discussing the following:

• The upcoming Office of Licensing Round Table Meetings
  • Review of Primary Concerns we can discuss with Investigators
  • Suggestions You Have for Investigators to be familiar with prior to onsite visits or engagements
• Updates from Capitol Hill - Our Lobbyists will be sharing industry movements

We want to know how the recent laws and changes and the interpretation of these laws, by the Department of Human Services, have affected your program's ability to provide meaningful services to high-risk populations.  We would like to further discuss possible solutions to these concerns and how this alliance of programs will assist in affecting solutions to these concerns.

Please feel free to invite up to 5 persons from your organization's team to attend. These should be persons who understand the problems your program is facing and are willing to participate in possible solutions to the issues.  If you can't come - pick a representative that can report back for you.
